Day 1: Singapore – Taipei   (Meals on Board)

Upon arrival at Taoyuan Airport, transfer to Taipei Hotel

Day 2: Taipei – Chiayi   (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  • Shihfen Old Street(Release Sky Lantern) – The largest train stop in Pingxi.
  • Miaoli Hakka Museum – A cultural center in Tongluo Township, Miaoli County, Taiwan about Hakka people
  • Chiayi DIY in the Farm

Day 3: Chiayi – Kaohsiung    (Breakfast/Lunch)

  • Alishan National Forest Recreation Area(Sisters Lakes) – In central Taiwan. It's dominated by the Alishan Mountains, which feature cloud-ringed peaks and green valleys. The lakes are two high mountain lakes, one large and one small. The little sister lake is oval in shape, the elder sister lake is larger and rectangular and has two wooden “love pavilions” built on Formosan red cypress bases. The two lakes are less than 50 meters apart.
  • Kaohsiung
  • Buddha Museum - Previously known as the Buddha Memorial Center, is a Mahayana Buddhist cultural, religious and educational museum located in Dashu District.
  • The Pier-2 Art Center - A variety of culture integration of art works

Day 4: Kaohsiung – Chiayi   (Breakfast/Lunch)

  • Qiaotou Sugar Factory – Opened in the Japanese Colonial period, was Taiwan's first sugar factory which incorporated modernized machinery, and is already over 100 years old. 19 heritage sites have been preserved, including the factory's imitation baroque tropical colonial architecture, along with the red tile water tower and life-sized statues of Guanyin, recounting Taiwan's past struggle for economic development.
  • Kaohsiung Ten Drum – A drum museum, drumming experience rooms, a small indoor theater and couple of much bigger outdoor ones, a praying hall and more.
  • Proceed to Tainan
  • Anping Old Street (Anping Tree House) – A long tight alley full of delicious traditional Taiwanese foods and trinkets. It's next to the Old Anping Fort in Tainan City.
  • Tait & Company – Located in Anping District of Tainan, the ancient capital of Taiwan, the Old Tait & Co Merchant House (Old De-Ji Merchant House) is the former merchant house of Tait & Co Trading Company, the British Trading Company that was found in 1867 and was also one of the top 5 trading companies in Anping area.
  • Hinoki Village – Consists of 28 wooden Japanese-style dormitories. There are some shops of creative cultural works like wooden furniture and food like fruit popsicle, as well as some small museums like Kano Story House that has been popular since the movie “Kano” was released. Also, exhibitions are held on an irregular basis.

Day 5: Chiayi - Taichung   (Breakfast/Lunch)

  • Via Highway to Nantou
  • Nantou Rest Area
  • Aboriginal Product Shop
  • Sun Moon Lake (Take Boat on Lake) - Taiwan's largest lake, is located in the mountains of Nantou at the geographic centre of Taiwan island. The name of the lake is inspired by the beauty of the area. The east side of the lake is round, like the sun, while the west side is long and narrow, like a crescent moon.
  • Wenwu Temple - Wenwu Temple, also known as Literature-Warrior Temple, stands on the northern hillside nearby Sun Moon Lake, Nantou County, Taiwan, China. It got its name because the place was used to worship Confucius, Wenchang Emperor as well as gods.
  • Taiwanese tea center
  • Taichung

Day 6: Taichung – Taipei   (Breakfast/Lunch)

  • Sanyi Cheting woodcarving Rest Area – Sanyi was known for its wood carving in the beginning of the 1900's. Many visitors make a stop to shop for beautiful modern and traditional wood sculptures and to see a few remnants of the Japanese period.
  • Proceed to Taipei
  • Vigor Kobo – One of the most popular bakery chains among foreign visitors to Taiwan
  • Martyrs Shrine - Built to honour the fallen Kuomintang soldiers after the Chinese Civil War
  • Handicraft Center
  • National CKS Memorial Hall – A national monument, landmark and tourist attraction erected in memory of Chiang Kai-shek, former President of the Republic of China.
  • Ximen - The "Harajuku" of Taipei, this pedestrian shopping haven is one of the city's culture centres, hosting a massive variety of fashion clothing shops, eclectic restaurants, clubs, and bars.

Day 7: Taipei – Singapore   (Breakfast)

Free at leisure in the morning. Check out hotel and transfer to Taoyuan Airport for flight back to Singapore.
